Office renovation budget worksheet for Singapore businesses
Budget the finished office before comparing contractor totals. This worksheet separates physical work, unresolved allowances and costs outside the contractor’s scope, so a low initial figure does not hide items your business still needs to arrange.
Use this before the quotation comparison
The existing quotation checklist helps compare offers from contractors. This worksheet comes earlier: it helps your business decide what the budget must cover and which items still need investigation. It does not provide market rates, an Omni package or a substitute for a site assessment.
Create one row for each room or work package where the scope differs. Fill in the amount only when you have a quote or a clearly identified internal allowance. Keep the date and source of every amount so a planning estimate is not later mistaken for an agreed price.
Compare the quotations once you receive them
Print and complete the scope budget
Use the blank cells for your own figures. “Allowance” means an amount you have set aside pending clarification, not a contractor’s fixed price. Avoid counting the same removal, delivery or cleaning cost in two packages.
| Work package | Requirement or quantity | Quoted amount | Provisional allowance | Included by / exclusions |

| Client-controlled reserve for unresolved decisions |
Separate a confirmed scope from an unknown one
For each allowance, write what would turn it into a priced item: a site measurement, a selected material, a landlord response or a specialist assessment. Name the person responsible and when the answer is needed. Do not insert a percentage reserve and assume it covers an undefined scope.
Keep GST, building deposits, professional fees and specialist work as questions until the relevant party confirms applicability and who pays. The worksheet does not state Omni’s tax status or that Omni supplies every listed item. A line in a budget is not an inclusion in a contractor’s agreement.
Test the budget against the layout
Count the proposed rooms and identify their wall, door, ceiling and floor requirements. Mark which existing items remain. If the layout changes after quotations arrive, record the changed work and obtain an updated scope rather than comparing the old figure with a different finished office.
Ask for alternatives against a defined item: retain a suitable existing finish, change an agreed specification or defer a non-essential room. Have the project team check whether the alternative affects other work or approvals. Do not reduce a required performance specification simply to reach a budget total.
Define the complete office partition system
Keep payment timing separate from total cost
Prepare a second internal list of when each agreed payment falls due and who will authorise it. Refer to the actual quotation and contract rather than assuming a standard deposit or payment schedule. Compare your expected outgoing payments with the office move, furniture and IT commitments before agreeing dates.
Discuss the scope with Omni Contractors
Omni Contractors publishes office renovation and commercial fit-out services, including partitions, ceilings, floor preparation and finishes. Send the unit address, floor plan, photographs, proposed rooms and target move-in date. Identify the items you want to retain and any scope that still needs a site check; agree inclusions, exclusions and responsibilities in writing.

Sources and scope
Prepared on 17 October 2026. The comparison and worksheets are planning aids, not a quotation, a technical design or a promise about Omni’s availability. Building and authority requirements depend on the actual unit and works.
How much does office renovation cost per square foot?
This worksheet does not quote a rate. The actual cost depends on the unit condition, room layout, materials, removals, access requirements and agreed scope. Request a site-specific quotation and identify what its total excludes.
Is this an Omni quotation or price list?
No. It is a blank planning worksheet for your own budget and allowances. Omni’s quotation must identify the actual works, inclusions, exclusions and terms for your unit.
Why separate the budget worksheet from quote comparison?
Budgeting identifies all the spending your finished office may require, including separately supplied items. Quote comparison checks whether contractors are pricing the same agreed work. The two documents answer different questions.
